Thank You for Your Patience!

Lakeland, Florida, June 15, 2020

As we move into another week with COVID-19 protocols in place, we'd like to say "Thank You" to the clients we have seen through our curbside-only services who expressed their appreciation, patience, and understanding. We know this is a less than ideal situation, but our clients and patients are very important to us. We want you to know that our staff is working extremely hard to meet everyone's needs.

Through a normal day we see many patients, take many phone calls, and help many clients pick up medications for their pets. During this unusual time when we cannot allow clients into the building, there may be delays. Please keep in mind that what was once routine is now more time consuming. We appreciate your patience with our veterinary team.

In an attempt to limit high call volumes and to make sure everyone in need gets assistance, we ask that clients order medications and preventatives through our online pharmacy whenever possible: https://spcainc.securevetsource.com/index.pml

We know these times are uncertain, but we are here for you and your pets. We look forward to welcoming you through our doors again in the future. Until then, please stay safe, and know we are thankful for your continued support, understanding, and patience.

SPCA Florida’s Medical Center Remains Open

Lakeland, Florida, April 2, 2020

SPCA Florida’s Medical Center is open to the public offering curb side service. Pet care is deemed essential, and you are allowed to go out to take your pet to the vet, should they need it.

You and your fur family members are important to us. As we continue to monitor the ever-changing situations surrounding COVID-19 and the impact it is having on our community, our top priority continues to be the safety and well-being of you, your pets, and our team members.

We have eliminated client access to the interior of the Medical Center building to follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing. Our goal is to remain open, so we can continue to serve you and your pets. On appointment day, a member of our Medical Team will meet you at your car to bring your pet in for their exam, or to bring your prescription order to you.

Same day appointments are available to continue to care for Polk County’s dogs and cats.

The SPCA Florida Medical Center is open Monday through Thursday, for as long as we can safely.

Please check with us to schedule an appointment or to place a medication refill by calling 863-646-4647. A representative will provide you with special instructions for checking in for your appointment or picking up your pet’s medications.

And please remember to use our online pharmacy whenever possible: http://spcainc.vetsourceweb.com/index.pml

Dear Valued Client,

You and your fur family members are important to us. As we continue to monitor the ever-changing situations surrounding COVID-19 and the impact it is having on our community, our top priority continues to be the safety and well-being of you, your pets, and our team members.

Therefore, we have made a decision to move to curb side service starting this Tuesday, March 24th.

At that time we will eliminate client access to the interior of the Medical Center building in an effort to follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing. Our goal is to try to remain open as long as it is safe so we can continue to serve you and your pets. If however, there is a reason you feel a need to enter the building for your appointment, please let one of our client service coordinators know.

We will remain open Monday through Saturday, for as long as we safely can. Please check with us to schedule an appointment or to place a medication refill by calling 863-646-4647. A representative will provide you with special instructions for checking in for your appointment, or picking up your pet’s medications.

On your appointment day, a member of our Medical Team will meet you at your car to bring your pet in for their exam, or to bring your prescription order to you.

And please remember to use our online pharmacy whenever possible: http://spcainc.vetsourceweb.com/index.pml

Thank you for your understanding while we implement these temporary protocols to keep all of us safe and healthy.
